Description:
Develop and maintain policy and SOPs; update maintain and operate the configuration compliance verification tool; provide operation, troubleshooting, training and helpdesk support Perform scanning of Active Directories Configure and maintain the vulnerability assessment tool suite; verify, validate and ensure assessment product’s vulnerability levels are appropriate for the environment; develop and maintain scripts to incorporate configuration information into the assessment product Perform and post results of bi-weekly and on demand vulnerability assessments Maintain and operate all hardware supporting the configuration compliance verification and vulnerability assessment activities including system administration, configuration management, technical troubleshooting, backup/recovery, training and user support Analyze available security information including results of configuration compliance verification, vulnerability assessment, security and system patch information, field reports, OIG reports, and intelligence information to assess the status of remote organization’s cyber security posture Providing incident reporting and response capability Offering investigative and computer forensics support Providing patch and exploit dissemination Providing technical computer security training to both internal and external audiences Conducting security product and suite research Evaluating, testing, and configuring various security products Carrying out technical certification reviews (including Web sites) Installing, configuring, and implementing security hardware and software solutions (firewalls, vulnerability scanners, etc.) Offering security help desk support Providing computer security lab services Experience with the following tools highly desired:
Tenable Nessus McAfee Foundstone Vulnerability Manager McAfee Hercules Policy Auditor & Agent McAfee ePO database & Agent HP WebInspect
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years experience working in an enterprise network environment Solid understanding of network principles Experience performing Information Assurance functions Applicants MUST be US Citizens eligible to obtain a security clearance; existing Secret or Top Secret clearances highly desired
